How to get a 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection at $179.99

The 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection comes in two versions, Day (Espeon ex) and Night (Umbreon ex), each $179.99, and both come out on November 6, 2026, the same day as Delta Reign (ICv2, July 9, 2026; PHD Games). Most pre-orders we've seen are well above that. As of October 10, Pokémon Center hasn't opened its line for either version, and Walmart hasn't put it in a drawing. Here's where you can still try at $179.99, how each line works, and what to check before you pay.

In short

  • The price on the box is $179.99. Day and Night cost the same and hold the same number of packs; only the promo, coin and art differ.
  • The best chances at that price are lines that haven't opened yet: Pokémon Center, which has sold big products by pre-order behind a waiting room and by emailed invitation, and Best Buy's listing. Walmart hasn't put it in a drawing so far.
  • Walmart's drawings for other 30th Celebration products have been above MSRP, so check the price before you enter.
  • Anything above $179.99 is a premium, whoever sells it. Our Deals page shows any vetted shop at or near MSRP.

Where you can try at $179.99, store by store

As we checked on October 9 and 10, 2026. These change quickly; our Windows page shows lines as they open.

Pokémon Center

Not open yet No pre-orders so far. Its July 15 and July 20 30th Celebration drops and the September 30 Delta Reign pre-orders didn't include it (Card Lines, July 18 and October 9, 2026). Pokémon Center has sold big products through pre-orders behind a waiting room, with a purchase limit per product (how its queue works), through surprise restocks, and since October 5 through emailed invitations (how those work). We found no report of it opening a waiting room on a set's release day.

Best Buy

Listed Release date November 6, "1 Ultra-Premium Collection per Order", and the version is chosen at random. On October 9 it showed "Coming Soon" and couldn't be bought yet (Best Buy listing).

Walmart

No drawing yet Walmart's drawings for other 30th Celebration products have been above MSRP: the Elite Trainer Box at $69 against $49.99, and a 2-pack of Booster Bundles at $64 against $53.88 (our Walmart drawings guide). If one opens for this box, compare its price to $179.99 before you enter.

GameStop

Above MSRP Listed at $399.99 when we checked on October 9, 2026, more than double the price on the box.

Target

Above MSRP A Target.com listing for the Night version showed $249.99 and "Out of Stock" in October; we couldn't confirm whether Target or a partner seller lists it.

Amazon

Not confirmed No price or invitation for this box has been reported. Amazon sold the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box by invitation, at $89.99 against $49.99 (Yahoo Shopping, September 29, 2026).

Game stores and online hobby shops take pre-orders too. One shop we've vetted listed it at $179.99 on October 9, and it sold out. If another shows up at or near MSRP, it appears on Deals.

Be ready before November 6

  • 1
Set up your accounts now. Save your address and card on Pokémon Center, Best Buy and Walmart, and stay signed in.
  • 2
In Pokémon Center's waiting room, join once, in one tab, and don't refresh. The wait it shows is an estimate, and getting in doesn't hold stock (how the queue works).
  • 3
Pokémon Center has opened recent drops late morning Eastern on weekdays: 11:06 AM on July 15 and 11:44 AM on September 30 (Restockd tracker). That's a pattern from past drops, not a schedule.
  • 4
For a Walmart drawing, speed doesn't matter. Pick your address, card and quantity before you submit, because you can't change them, and winners are charged automatically.
  • 5
Check the price before you pay. $179.99 is the yardstick for both versions, wherever you buy.

Why pre-orders cost more

Demand for 30th Celebration has outrun stock since its first drops: Pokémon Center's July pre-orders for other 30th Celebration products sold out the same day (Kotaku), behind waiting rooms reported at four to six hours and longer (Card Lines; Joseph Writer Anderson). On October 5, TCGplayer's market price for Day pre-orders was about $566, 3.1 times the price on the box (our 30th Celebration guide). Those are resellers' prices for a box that isn't out yet, not the box price. It also comes out the same day as Delta Reign.

Store statuses as we checked them on October 9 and 10, 2026; stores change them without notice. MSRP from ICv2 (July 9, 2026); PHD Games' case MSRP works out to $177.21 a box. Pokémon Center's drop times are reported by a third-party tracker, not by Pokémon.
