Disney Lorcana Hyperia City: the cards, the chase and how to buy it at the box price
Lorcana's 14th set comes out October 23, with prerelease events from October 16. It's the first Lorcana set in a city, it brings Coco into the game, and it adds ink drops. Here's what's in it, which cards are the rarest, how earlier boxes have held up, and how to buy at $143.76.

In short
- Above the 204 main cards sit 18 Epic, 18 Enchanted and 2 Iconic cards. The Iconics are Mickey Mouse, Best in Town and Cinderella, Unintentional Icon.
- Ravensburger publishes no odds, only that Iconics are "far less common than Enchanted cards". Earlier Iconics sell for about $1,100 to $3,500.
- Boxes have sold above $143.76 after release: about $197 to $228 for the last two sets on October 13, and over $800 for Fabled. Hyperia pre-orders were about $181.
- Game stores and prerelease week are the way in at the box price. The Trove ($49.99) and the 2-Player Starter Set are the smaller buys.
What's in the set
- Setting
- "Our first set to take place in a city," says its art director (Disney Lorcana). Coco makes its Lorcana debut, alongside Big Hero 6 and the princesses.
- New
- Ink drops: "a counter providing players a one-time-use ink they can spend to play cards from their hand or potentially empower other cards" (press release). Each is worth 1 ink and leaves the game once used (Ink Drop Deep Dive).
- Products
- Booster box $143.76 (24 packs); Illumineer's Trove $49.99, "a full art box, 8 booster packs, 6 damage dice, and more"; Prerelease Box $39.99 at game stores (PHD Games, Disney Lorcana). A new 2-Player Starter Set is listed by stores at $29.99.

The chase
The Iconics
Ravensburger calls them "the rarest in the game" (press release). Iconics started with Fabled in 2025, so this is the sixth pair (Disney Lorcana). Thornberry Media calls them the set's "biggest chase cards".

pre-order
The two most recent sets sit about 35% to 60% above the box price; Fabled, the first set with Iconics, sells for over five times it. Hyperia City pre-orders were trading around $181 on October 13, down from about $215 a week earlier. Prices are snapshots, not forecasts.
Buying Hyperia City at the box price
- Prerelease, from Oct 16
At game stores and select Disney Parks and stores (press release). The Prerelease Box ($39.99) is sold there: six booster packs, four damage dice, one random promo card and a map of Hyperia City. Sign up for an event at Ravensburger Play (Disney Lorcana). See what prereleases are.
- Your local game store
Ask about a box at $143.76. Set Championship players get a Honey Lemon, Testing the Limits promo, foil for the Top 8 (Disney Lorcana).
- Illumineer's Trove, $49.99
8 packs in a storage box. Pre-orders were trading around $109 on October 13 (TCGplayer), so look for it at the box price on release day.
- 2-Player Starter Set
Two 60-card decks to learn with, listed by stores at $29.99. See the Lorcana buying guide.
- Don't pay pre-order marketplace prices. The last two sets' boxes have settled around $200 to $230, not far above where Hyperia pre-orders are now.
- Buy singles for one card. An Iconic is far rarer than an Enchanted, and Ravensburger gives no odds for either.
- Check Deals after release. Lorcana has often been easier to find at the box price once release week passes; Deals shows vetted shops at a fair price.
