Bandai's One Piece Official Shop lottery: how to buy, and what Bandai has posted

As of November 4, 2026, Bandai's ONE PIECE CARD GAME Official Shops in the US sell new releases by lottery: you register in advance on one shop's own registration page, Bandai selects at random, and selected buyers purchase in store during the release period. For OP-18 the application window runs from November 4 at 10:00 AM CT (11:00 AM ET) to November 10 at 10:00 PM CT (11:00 PM ET), for purchases November 20 to 22 at ten shops, with a limit of one box per person (Bandai Official Shop, November 4, 2026). This page says how it works, gives the record so far, and says what Bandai has posted for Gundam and Naruto.

In short

  • To apply: open Bandai's notice, choose one shop, and register on that shop's own registration page during the application window. Bandai says to apply to one location only (Bandai's FAQ, November 4, 2026).
  • OP-18 window: November 4, 10:00 AM CT (11:00 AM ET) to November 10, 10:00 PM CT (11:00 PM ET). Purchases are November 20 to 22 at the ten shops.
  • If you're selected: you check in during your assigned time slot with your QR code and a valid ID. The limit is one box per person, and tickets can't be transferred (same FAQ).
  • Not said yet: as of November 4, 2026, Bandai's notice and FAQ don't state a price, when applicants hear back, or what happens to an application that isn't selected.

1 boxper person, Bandai's limit

Bandai's OP-18 notice says that, for the safety of customers and staff, purchases at the ONE PIECE CARD GAME Official Shops during the release period will be conducted through a "random selection process", and that customers who want to buy must register in advance on the official registration page (Bandai Official Shop, November 4, 2026). Bandai's lottery notice of April 2, 2026 says it uses the Zaiko lottery system for the Official Shops' product releases, to cut waiting time and crowding (Bandai Official Shop).

Bandai's FAQ adds the rules for OP-18 (Bandai Official Shop FAQ, November 4, 2026):

  • One location. Apply to one shop only, since one winning ticket is selected per person.
  • One box. You may submit more than one application, but only one ticket is selected per person, and the limit is one box per person.
  • Your time slot. Check-in is only during your assigned time slot. Bandai says you can't pick up at a different time.
  • Only you. Only the ticket holder can buy. Bring your QR code and a valid ID. Tickets can't be transferred.
  • Other releases that day. Bandai says you can also buy the other November 20 releases, subject to availability: Double Pack Set Vol.13 [DP-13] and Gift Collection -ONE PIECE Heroines- [GC-2026], one per person each.

Bandai's notice doesn't state a price for OP-18 (read November 4, 2026, at 10:20 AM CT).

The ten OP-18 shops

Bandai's OP-18 notice lists a registration page for each of these ten ONE PIECE CARD GAME Official Shops (November 4, 2026):

  • Plano, Texas
  • Edgewater, New Jersey
  • Arlington Heights, Illinois
  • San Jose, California
  • Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Brooklyn, New York
  • San Diego, California
  • San Francisco, California
  • Gurnee, Illinois
  • Minneapolis, Minnesota

Minneapolis is the one not on the EB-05 list below. The notice links each shop's registration page. We describe only what Bandai's notice and FAQ say.

Reading the application window

Bandai writes each time in three zones. For OP-18 the window opens "11/4/2026 @ 8:00 AM PST / 10:00 AM CST / 11:00 AM EST" and closes "11/10/2026 @ 8:00 PM PST / 10:00 PM CST / 11:00 PM EST". We write it Central first, Eastern in brackets: November 4, 10:00 AM CT (11:00 AM ET) to November 10, 10:00 PM CT (11:00 PM ET). The close is 8:00 PM on the West Coast.

If you aren't selected

Bandai's notice and FAQ for OP-18 don't say how applicants are told, or what happens to an application that isn't selected (read November 4, 2026). What they do say:

  • A ticket you don't claim is void. Bandai says if you forget to claim your ticket, your right to buy OP-18 and the other new products in the release period is invalidated.
  • Without a ticket, it depends on the shop. Four shops (Edgewater, San Jose, San Francisco, Gurnee) limit release-period sales to ticket holders. Cincinnati and Minneapolis let people without tickets buy older products, with ticket holders first in line. Plano, Brooklyn, San Diego and Arlington Heights let people without tickets buy older products after the last time slot each day. Bandai's FAQ calls these non-release products (Bandai's FAQ, November 4, 2026).
  • After November 22, Bandai says to contact the store directly about any newly released products that remain unsold. The FAQ lists each shop's phone number.

The record so far

  • OP-18 (November 20). Notice and FAQ dated November 4, 2026. Applications November 4, 10:00 AM CT (11:00 AM ET) to November 10, 10:00 PM CT (11:00 PM ET). Purchases November 20 to 22 at ten shops. One box per person.
  • EB-05 (October 30). Notice read October 16, 2026. Applications until October 21, 10:00 PM CT (11:00 PM ET). Purchases October 30 to November 1 at nine shops: Plano, Edgewater, Arlington Heights, San Jose, Cincinnati, Brooklyn, San Diego, San Francisco and Gurnee. One box per person; the notice said winners would be emailed a time slot and bring their QR code and a valid ID. As of November 4, 2026, that notice is no longer on Bandai's news pages.

Our Premium Bandai guide has the OP-17 lottery, and the release pages for OP-18 and EB-05 show every store.

Where Bandai posts the notices

  • Bandai's shop news page, shop.bandainamco-am.com/news. The OP-18 notice and FAQ were posted there on November 4, 2026, and the ONE PIECE CARD GAME Official Shop page on the same site shows its latest news.
  • The shop's account on X, @opcgshopus. Bandai's US Official Shop account on X posted the OP-18 notice the same morning (November 4, 2026).
  • Bandai Namco Amusement's accounts, linked from each shop page: X (@bandainamcoam), Instagram and Facebook.

Gundam

As of November 4, 2026, we found no Official Shop lottery posted for Gundam. None of the titles on Bandai's five shop news pages mentions a lottery for a Gundam product. THE GUNDAM BASE, which Bandai describes as an official Gunpla facility, has Chicago and Minneapolis news posts. Its November 2, 2026 Chicago event calendar lists Gundam Card Game demo sessions, with sign-up in store, and store tournaments, with sign-up on the TCG+ app, and says nothing about a lottery. Bandai's July 9, 2025 post said the Gundam Card Game would arrive at Bandai Namco Cross Store Brooklyn, New York, on July 11 (Bandai Official Shop news, checked November 4, 2026). For Gundam's online lotteries, see Premium Bandai Chance to Buy.

Naruto

NARUTO CARD GAME launches worldwide in June 2027 (our Naruto guide, from Bandai's press release of October 10, 2026). As of November 4, 2026, we found no mention of it on Bandai's shop news pages, and no post on how these shops will sell it.

Be ready

Do

  1. Read Bandai's notice and FAQ for the release before you apply.
  2. Choose the shop you can reach during the release period, since you buy in person.
  3. Note the close in your own time zone. For OP-18: 10:00 PM CT (11:00 PM ET, 8:00 PM PT) on November 10.
  4. If you're selected, bring your QR code and a valid ID, and check in during your assigned slot.
  5. Don't apply at several shops. Bandai says to choose one.

How we checked this

Rules and dates are from Bandai's OP-18 notice, FAQ and April 2 lottery notice, its shop news pages (all five), and the ONE PIECE CARD GAME Official Shop and THE GUNDAM BASE pages, read on November 4, 2026, from 10:19 AM CT, and the EB-05 notice as read on October 16, 2026. Bandai can change a program without notice. Times are Central, with Eastern in brackets.
